To commemorate the forty-fifth anniversary of the Palestinian Land Day, and part of the activities of the “My Return campaign", "Thabet" held a cultural evening entitled: “Indications and Meanings of Land Day from the Perspective of Resistance Literature”, on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, via Zoom and other online platforms including Facebook. Hosting the event Eman Al-Shanti spoke about the anniversary of Land Day, and its events that are still present and continue with the violations and practices of the "Israeli" occupation, and the right owners cling to their land until the end of the occupation
On the topic of the event's title, the poet Samir Attia spoke that the land is the focus of the conflict and its reflection since the thirties of the last century on what poets and writers wrote who were inside and outside Palestine, and who interacted with the Palestinian cause to restore the Palestinian right. Speaking also was Jihad AlRajbi also referred to the issue of the assassination of writers, and that they are part of the cultural battle against the "Israeli" occupation. She stressed the need to pay attention to promising writers and rising talents and train them, as well as paying attention to the future generations. At the end of the cultural evening, the guests presented short excerpts of their poetry and prose writings inspired by the occasion of Land Day
